Care Shield Pharmaceuticals is a community pharmacy that deals with drugs and other household products as well as other products.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

 

Job Title: Pharmacy Technician

Location: Agbani Road, Enugu

Employment Type: Full-time

Reports to: Pharmacist / Pharmacy Manager

 

Key Responsibilities

Prescription Processing:

• Receive and review prescriptions for completeness.
• Prepare medications under the supervision of the pharmacist.
• Label and package prescriptions for dispensing.

Customer Service:

• Assist patients at the pharmacy counter.
• Handle inquiries related to prescriptions and OTC medications.
• Refer medical-related questions to the pharmacist.

Inventory Management:

• Manage and stock shelves with medications and supplies.
• Track inventory levels and alert the pharmacist when supplies are low.
• Help with expiration date checks and removal of outdated stock.

Administrative Duties:

• Maintain accurate patient records and prescription logs.
• Handle billing and insurance claim processing.
• Manage phone calls and coordinate with healthcare providers.
• Compliance and Cleanliness:
• Ensure work areas are clean and organized.
• Follow protocols for safety, hygiene, and confidentiality.

Requirements

Interested candidates should possess an HND / B.Sc Degree with 1 year work experience.
