As part of its statutory function, the Veterinary Council of Nigeria announces the 2015 Professional Continuing Education Seminaras follows:

A. Southern Centre: 2th July, 2015 at Afe Babalola University, Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti State

B. NorthernCentre: 13th August, 2015 at Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto, Sokoto State .

i. Public Health: The Role of Veterinarians in Emerging and Re-Emerging Diseases by Prof.J. U.Umoh '

ii. Theriogenology : Ultrasonography in Veterinary Diagnosis by Dr. Abdulkadir Usman

iii Surgery: Pain Management by Prof.J. B. Adeyanju

Registration:

The registration fee is N15, 000.00 only per Veterinary Surgeon and N5, 000.00 per Veterinary Para-Professional.This covers Registration, Seminar materials, Certificate and Meal. Members are to make their accommodation arrangements.

Registration exercise at the venues will commence on the 1st July, 2015 (for the Southern Centre) and 12th August, 2015 (for the Northern Centre) and

continues on the following day till the Opening Ceremony.

Note:

1. Certificate of attendance will only be given to members who participate till the end of the seminar and this will be collected in person.

2. Veterinary Para-Professionals who are yet to register with the Council are exempted from providing VCN Reg No.
