Surgical Aid Foundation (SAF), a registered NGO, suppots charity work every year especially for financially handicapped patients who cannot afford the cost of Minimally Invasive High-Tech Surgeries. The Foundation partners with one of the leading hospitals in Abuja for her 2014 Annual Surgical Outreach Programme.

In 2014, the theme of the programme is Current Management of Kidney Stones.Sub -theme is Laparoscopic Surgery The programme is slated to hold from March 16th to 22nd Endoscopic and laparoscopic surgical procedures in Urology, General Surgery and Gynaecology will be supported including laser lithotripsy for kidney stones, laser prostate surgery, laparoscopic surgery for gall stones, uterine fibroids, ovarian cysts etc. All the surgeries the foundation will support will be minimal access (laparoscpic, endoscopic or laser-based).

People with kidney stones, gall stones, ovarian cysts, uterine fibroids or in need of  laparoscopic surgery or laser lithotripsy for stones may apply to join the 2014 programme. A Guest Lecture will hold in Ladi Kwali Hall, Sheraton Hotel, on March 18, at 3.00pm The Lecture will be delivered by Prof R. B. Sabnis.
