Taghini Foods is a traditional poultry processing Company based in Ibadan. We supply fresh and frozen poultry products to wholesalers, caterers and further processors, including products suitable for Halal customers.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Abattoir Production Officer

Location: Ibadan Oyo,

Employment Type: Full-time

Slots:  4 Openings

Level: Corporate Assistant

Role

• Supervise responsibilities for different units of the plant operational performance in the area of safety
• Ensure compliance to health and safety policies
• Supervise activities within the shop floor
• Coordinate workers assigned for daily task
• Daily compliance with production schedule
• Follow up processes at stages of production with the application of food safety rules, HACCP and good housekeeping
• Provide daily operational report

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Higher National Diploma in Animal Science, Poultry Science, Veterinary Medicine, Food Technology
• Additional certificate in any of Agile Methodology, SCRUM, Six Sigma Green Belt is an added advantage
• Minimum of 1 years working experience in the manufacturing sector
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Be able to follow written procedures
• Follow plant GMP and Food Safety guideline
• Ability to work quickly and safely to meet production requirement
• Strong problem-solving skill
• Strong analytical skill

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to work in wet and cold environment (40°C)
• Ability to stand for entire shift
• Exposure to noise
• High tolerance to animal blood and animal carcasses
