The Chief Medical Director, Federal Teaching Hospital, Ido Ekiti, Prof. Adekunle Ajayi, has urged individuals and corporate to support government in providing healthcare facilities, saying this will go a long way to ensure more efficient and effective services.
Ajayi spoke during the official takeover of a four-bedroom staff quarter’s complex built and donated by Igogo Ekiti to the annex of FETHI in the community. He said, “This support will boost operations of the health care facility and improve service delivery.”
The CMD, who is an indigene of the community, pledged continual support of the hospital to the Igogo annex.
The Onigogo of Igogo Ekiti, Oba Sunday Adewumi, said the four-bedroom complex which his community-sponsored was “to facilitate 24-hour delivery of improved health care services to the community and its environs.”
