Delta State Government has commenced the second phase (Phase II) of the COVID 19 Vaccination Exercise across the state. This was disclosed on Monday in a special announcement by the State Government signed by Theresa Adiabua Oliko, the Director of Information for the state.
“Clients who received their first dose of AstraZeneca vaccine should kindly go with their vaccination cards to be vaccinated with the second dose”, the announcement said.
It added, “All COVID 19 vaccines have been certified safe and effective by NAFDAC and are free”. It advised Deltans, residents and persons who are 18 years and above to “kindly visit the nearest health facility to be vaccinated”.
