Job Title: Clinical Coordinator

Location: Lagos

Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

• Evaluate patients and provide appropriate medical treatment for various illnesses and injuries.
• Prescribe, administer and dispense medication in accordance with state and federal statutes.
• Ensure that patient care is optimal and in adherence to the clinical guidelines and quality standards.
• Document all patient evaluations, treatments, medications and transactions according to company policies and procedures.
• Performing inpatient and outpatient reviews with initial assessment and management.
• Supervise other clinical staff to ensure compliance with all applicable regulations.
• Holds regular clinical staff meetings to keep the team informed as to the goals of the Clinic and any changes in policy or procedures. Regularly solicits feedback on areas that need improvement
• Maintain confidentiality of all information related to participants, medical staff, and employees.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of current care methods and procedures and suggest improvements
• General administration of duties as regards patients’ welfare
• Exhibits a high degree of responsibility for confidential matters.
• Provide oversight, training and development to medical staff
• Maintains working knowledge of the medical staff bylaws, rules and regulations, and Hospital policies.
• Ensuring quality services at all times.
• Identifying, analyzing, evaluating and reporting quality improvement initiatives
• Review and understand patient expectations.
• Promote and maintain harmonious and effective relationships and communication between the medical department and other departments.
• Definitive training program including manuals and hands-on exposure developed and updated regularly.

Requirements

• Interested candidates must have the following qualifications:
• Candidates should possess a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS / MBChB) qualification
• 4 - 6 years cognate experience
• Candidates must possess a current Practicing License from MDCN.
• Candidates must be medically fit.
• Candidates must be of proven good character and Integrity.
