A meeting between the Federal Government and striking members of the National Association of Resident Doctors again ended in a deadlock on Thursday evening.

The NAN learnt that members of NARD refused to sign the Memorandum of Understanding during a meeting they had with the Minister of Labour and Employment, Chris Ngige.

Sources privy to the meeting told The PUNCH that the resident doctors refused to sign the MOU due to the fact that their demands were not stated in the agreement.

“They left the venue angrily and Insisted that they won’t sign,” a source said.
