Wellpath Physiotherapy and Wellness is a rehabilitation company in the business of providing physiotherapy, occupational therapy and speech and language therapy. Wellpath provides outpatient services as well as home service and hospital service to its clients.

Job Title: Head of Physiotherapy Department

Locations: Victoria Island, Ikoyi & Lekki, Lagos

Employment Type: Full-time

 

About the Role

• We are hiring an experienced Physiotherapist to lead our physiotherapy department.  
• This role involves developing department strategies, overseeing clinical operations, and ensuring high standards of patient care while still maintaining an active physiotherapy caseload.  
• The ideal candidate will have strong leadership abilities and extensive clinical experience.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement departmental strategies to improve patient care and workflow efficiency.
• Provide direct patient care, including assessments, treatment planning, and rehabilitation programs.
• Oversee all physiotherapy services, ensuring best practices and quality standards.
• Supervise and provide guidance to all physiotherapy staff.
• Manage departmental budgets and resource allocation.
• Collaborate with hospital management to improve overall healthcare service delivery.
• Represent the physiotherapy department in meetings and external engagements.
• Stay updated on industry advancements and integrate new techniques into practice.

 

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s / Master’s Degree in Physiotherapy.
• Proven expertise in hands-on physiotherapy treatment and patient care.
• 5+ years of experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Strong management, strategic planning, and decision-making skills.
• Experience in policy development and operational oversight.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

 

Salary

• N350,000 to N400,000 / month.
