Job Title: Healthcare Trainer (Nurse / Medical Doctor)

Description
- We are seeking a qualified and experienced Healthcare Trainer to join our team and deliver high-quality theoretical and practical healthcare training to new and experienced healthcare professionals.
- The ideal candidate will be a Registered Nurse or Medical Doctor with proven experience in healthcare training, facilitation and practical skills development.
- The successful candidate must be confident delivering training both online and in person and should have experience using practical training equipment and simulation resources.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, develop and deliver engaging healthcare training programs for new and experienced healthcare professionals.
- Deliver both classroom-based and practical hands-on training.
- Facilitate training in areas including:
- Phlebotomy and blood collection
- Vital signs monitoring, observation and interpretation
- Medication management and administration
- Skin integrity and pressure area care
- Falls prevention and risk management
- Moving and handling
- Infection prevention and control
- Basic clinical skills and patient care
- Health and safety within the healthcare environment
- Other relevant healthcare competencies.
- Demonstrate practical procedures using mannequins, simulation equipment and other healthcare training apparatus.
- Train healthcare workers to confidently apply theoretical knowledge in real-life care environments.
- Assess trainees' practical competencies and provide constructive feedback.
- Develop training plans, lesson materials, assessments and practical demonstrations.
- Adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and levels of experience.
- Maintain accurate training and assessment records.
- Stay up to date with healthcare standards, clinical practices and relevant regulatory requirements.
- Conduct online training sessions using appropriate digital platforms.
- Support continuous professional development and skills improvement among healthcare professionals.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or Medicine.
- Must be a Registered Nurse or Medical Doctor with relevant professional registration.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in healthcare training, facilitation, clinical teaching, public speaking or a related field.
- Proven experience as a healthcare trainer, clinical educator, nurse educator or facilitator.
- A recognized training/teaching/facilitation qualification from an accredited institution is highly desirable.
- Demonstrable experience delivering practical, competency-based healthcare training.
- Experience training healthcare assistants, caregivers, nurses or other healthcare professionals.
- Strong knowledge of practical healthcare procedures and patient-care standards.
- Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to deliver training effectively both online and face-to-face.
Practical Training Experience & Equipment
- The ideal candidate should have access to, and proven experience working with, practical healthcare training equipment, including: Employmentmarket analysis
- Clinical mannequins/simulation mannequins
- Phlebotomy training equipment
- Vital signs monitoring equipment
- Moving and handling equipment
- Medication administration training equipment
- Other relevant clinical skills training apparatus.
Candidates who already own or have access to healthcare training equipment and simulation resources will have an added advantage.

Benefits
- Salary: N200,000 - N300,000 monthly.
