REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS 

i. Professor:

Aside possessing the required as well as relevant academic qualifications in the p e of interest, applicants must have met the mandatory residency period as a Reader where such an applicant is not already a Professor. Applicants must have had a minimum of is years university working experience, a minimum of twenty four publications published in reputable journals (six of which could be publications in edited conference proceedings). Candidates for this position requiring tenure appointment must not have exceeded the mandatory retirement age of 7o years. 

ii. Reader/Associate Professor:

In addition to possessing the required academic qualifications in the programme of interest, applicants must have met the mandatory residency period as Senior Lecturer. Applicants must have had a minimum of 12 years university working experience, a minimum of eighteen publications published in reputable journals (four of which could be publications in edited conference proceedings). 

iii. Senior Lecturer:

 Interested candidates must in addition to possessing the required academic qualifications in the programme of interest, met the mandatory residency period as Lecturer I. Applicants must have had a minimum of 9 years university working experience, a minimum of ten publications published in reputable journals (two of which could be publications in edited conference proceedings). 

iv. Lecturer I:

Besides possessing the required academic qualifications in the programme of interest, applicants must have met the mandatory residency period as Lecturer II. Applicants must have had a minimum of 6years university working experience, a minimum of seven publications published in reputable journals (two of which could be publications in edited conference proceedings). 

v. Lecturer II:

Applicants for this position must have the required academic qualifications, preferably Ph. D in the programme of interest Academic publications in reputable journals will be an advantage. 

Note: ALL APPLICANTS for Academic positions must possess relevant Ph. D degree in their area of interest or a Fellowship of either the National or West African College in the appropriate discipline applied for.

vi. Mortician 

Holders of a recognized certificates or license as a mortician, with a minimum of three years experience on the job. Holders of Medical Laboratory Science certificate will be an advantage. 

vii. Mortician Assistant 

Holders of a recognized certificates or license as a mortician, with a minimum of two years experience on the job. Holders of Medical Laboratory Science certificate will be an advantage. 

Salaries and Allowances: 

Salaries and allowances are as obtainable in Nigerian Public Universities. An enhanced welfare package is also in place to attract the best in the education sector.

As contained in the approved conditions governing the service of Senior Staff in Nigerian Universities.
