Summary
The Key Purpose of this role is to define, develop and implement optimal brewery wide microbiological standards and work practices to ensure compliance to microbiological processes and product specifications.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
- Maintain a safe and healthy working environment
- Comply with safety, health and environmental procedures and legislation
- Maintain safety and housekeeping standards
- Aseptic Sampling according to Minimum Mandatory Sampling Plan (MMSP) from; Brewing,Technical Service and Packaging Department.
- Analysing of Sampled samples
- Identification of Microbiological analysis carried out.
- Maintain a safe and healthy environment
- Carrying out Preventive Maintenance
- Prepare samples
- Conduct analyses
- Communicate effectively in the workplace
- Contribute to self and team development.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum of a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology / Biotechnology or equivalent
- Specialized Microbiologist
- Min – 3-6 months on the job training
- 2-3 Years of experiences in Laboratory, Brewing or Packaging operation
- Understanding of process control within a brewing/process environment.
