Job Title: Laboratory Manager

Description

We are seeking an experienced Laboratory Manager to oversee end-to-end laboratory operations, ensuring accurate testing, regulatory compliance, and consistent turnaround times.

This role leads quality systems, audit readiness, personnel supervision, and equipment/inventory management while maintaining the highest standards of safety, integrity, and client service.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily laboratory operations, workflows, and SOP compliance
• Lead quality control, quality assurance, and accreditation readiness
• Ensure full regulatory compliance (MLSCN, MoH, NHIS, etc.)
• Supervise and develop laboratory personnel
• Oversee equipment maintenance, calibration, and inventory control
• Ensure result accuracy, validation, and timely release
• Manage risks, reporting, and corrective actions

Requirements

• B.Sc. in Medical Laboratory Science (or related field)
• Valid MLSCN practicing license
• 5–8 years’ laboratory experience, including supervisory/managerial roles
• Strong knowledge of laboratory quality systems, audits, and compliance
