Job Summary

The Lab Assistant supports laboratory and field testing operations by preparing samples, maintaining equipment, and assisting technicians to ensure efficient and accurate material testing within construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare material samples through drying, crushing, sieving, and splitting processes.
• Clean and maintain laboratory equipment including sieves, molds, ovens, and testing tools.
• Assist in casting and demoulding concrete cubes for compressive strength testing.
• Support technicians during heavy field testing activities.
• Ensure proper labeling, storage, and handling of samples and test materials.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laboratory environment.

Qualifications

• Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree with 1 - 5 years experience.

Salary

N180,000 - N200,000 monthly.
