Job Title: Laboratory Technician

Location: Lagos

Job Description

• We are seeking a passionate, experienced, and dedicated Laboratory Technician to support our diagnostics team.
• The ideal candidate will assist with routine laboratory procedures, handle samples correctly, operate equipment, and ensure the efficiency of daily diagnostic operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in conducting routine laboratory tests (haematology, urinalysis, microscopy, parasitology, etc.).
• Prepare samples and reagents for analysis.
• Operate, clean, and maintain laboratory equipment.
• Ensure proper labeling, handling, and storage of all samples.
• Record and update laboratory results accurately.
• Support Laboratory Scientists with diagnostic procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment.
• Monitor inventory and report low stock of lab supplies.
• Follow safety and quality control procedures strictly.

Qualifications

• OND, HND, or B.Sc. in Science Laboratory Technology or related field.
• Must be experienced in laboratory work (veterinary experience is a bonus).
• Passionate, reliable, and eager to learn.
• Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
• Basic computer skills for record keeping.
• Preferred: Candidates who live in or around Ikeja.
