Job Title: Laboratory Technician

Job Description
- We are seeking a passionate, experienced, and dedicated Laboratory Technician to support our diagnostics team.
- The ideal candidate will assist with routine laboratory procedures, handle samples correctly, operate equipment, and ensure the efficiency of daily diagnostic operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in conducting routine laboratory tests (haematology, urinalysis, microscopy, parasitology, etc.).
- Prepare samples and reagents for analysis.
- Operate, clean, and maintain laboratory equipment.
- Ensure proper labeling, handling, and storage of all samples.
- Record and update laboratory results accurately.
- Support Laboratory Scientists with diagnostic procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment.
- Monitor inventory and report low stock of lab supplies.
- Follow safety and quality control procedures strictly.
Qualifications
- OND, HND, or B.Sc. in Science Laboratory Technology or related field.
- Must be experienced in laboratory work (veterinary experience is a bonus).
- Passionate, reliable, and eager to learn.
- Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
- Basic computer skills for record keeping.
- Preferred: Candidates who live in or around Ikeja.
