The Federal Polytechnic Oko hereby invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Director, Medical Services.

Duties of the Director, Medical Services:

• Taking overall charge of the Medical Centre
• Coordinating the work and activities of subordinate staff at the Medical Centre
• Responsible to the Rector for the smooth running of the Medical Centre
• Performing other duties as may be assigned by the Rector

Qualifications and Experience:

• MBBS from a recognized institution and registration with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria with 18 years’ post-qualification cognate experience,
  OR
  Postgraduate Fellowship of National or West African College in any specialization in Medicine and Surgery with at least 15 years cognate experience
• Ability to work under pressure and meet short deadlines
• ICT compliance is mandatory
• Must present a current practicing license
• Must not be more than 55 years of age at the time of assumption of duty

Terms of Appointment and Conditions of Service:

• Appointment is for a period of four (4) years, renewable once based on satisfactory performance
• Conditions of service are as applicable in all other Federal Polytechnics
• Salary: CONMESS 7
