I bring fraternal greetings and solidarity to members of the National Administrative Council and National Executive Council and the entire members of our great union nationwide on this occasion of the International Workers’ Day. Unfortunately today’s May Day will be the world’s first global virtual May Day celebration as there would be no usual rallies and parades across the world but all activities would be conducted worldwide using online media. I encourage you to make the best use of the social media to send solidarity messages to fellow members and workers across the country and globally.

Today, Nigeria workers join millions of workers all over the world to mark 134th anniversary of international workers Day. This year May Day is a special edition because of the COVID-19 Pandemic ravaging the whole world which have for weeks imposed restrictions and leading to declaration of stay at home lock down by various government of the world.
