A private multispecialty tertiary hospital in Abuja is inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates for the following positions.

I. Medical Director  

Qualifications and Requirements  

Ihe candidate aspiring for the post of Medical Director in the hospital must fulfill the under listed criteria;  

  • • Must be a Medical Doctor who is medically qualified and registered for a period of not less than twelve (12) years and a Consultant in any specialty (Obstetrics &Gynaecology, Family Medicine, Paediatrics, Surgery will be an added advantage) for at least five(5) years with evidence of a current registration with the Medical and Dental council of Nigeria.  
  • • Must have a post-graduate qualification in a specialty that is duly registered with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria.  
  • • Must show evidence of high level managerial and executive capacity in the administration of a tertiary medical institution. • Should have attained professional and academic standing that must be sufficiently high to command national and international respect particularly in their specialty such that it would enhance the good reputation already established for the hospital.  
  • • Must be a person of courage who can take decisions on the basis of merit facts and principles and not on the basis of pressures of individuals or group, he/she must also be of impeccable character and unassailable integrity.  
  • • Must possess skills that can attract capital investment from the private/public sector and further enhance the execution of the mandate of the hospital.  
  • • Knowledge of Information and Communication Technology (Icr) is compulsory.  
  • • Evidence of Medical Researches is an added advantage.  

Consultants (Family Medicine, Cardiology, Nephrology)  

Qualifications and Requirements  

  • • MBBS, MBChb, M.D or D.O. degree.  
  • • Fellowship of West African/National College of Physicians in relevant speciality  
  • • Membership/Fellowship of Recognized International Colleges in relevant specialty  
  • • Valid Medical licence to practise as a specialist in Nigeria  

Senior Registrars  

Qualifications and Requirements  

  • • Candidates for this position must have passed Part One Examination of the National Post-Graduate Medical College of Nigeria or West African College of Physicians/ Surgeons or their equivalents.  
  • • Candidate must be licensed to practice medicine from the Nigerian Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria.  
  • • Must have valuable sympathetic bedside manners, strong active listening skills and advanced problem-solving abilities while being able to work in a team.  
  • • Candidate must possess excellent communication skills.  

Medical Officers  

Qualifications and Requirements  

  • • MBBS, MBChb, M.D or D.O. degree.  
  • • Candidate must be licensed to practice medicine from the Nigerian Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria.  
  • • Must have at least 1-3 years post NYSC experience as a Medical Officer.  
  • • Candidates must be Knowledgeable in General Medicine and other related areas of medical practice  
  • • Must have valuable sympathetic bedside manners, strong active listening skills and advanced problem-solving abilities while being able to work in a team.  
  • • Candidate must possess excellent communication skills.  

Technical Assistant to the Group Managing Director  

Qualifications and Requirements  

  • • Bachelor's degree preferably in a Medical related field (MBBS, Medical Laboratory Science, Pharmacy, and Nursing) or any other related field.  
  • • Master's degree in Business Administration, or any other related field is an added advantage.  
  • • At least 2 years' experience providing administrative support to Executives in busy reputable organizations.  
  • • Strong organizational skills that reflect the ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail.  
  • • Ability to build relationships with stakeholders, nurture strategic business partnerships and carry out negotiations.  
  • • Proven ability to handle confidential information with professional discretion.  
  • • Good business acumen and understanding of company  

All candidates must be highly motivated team players willing to go the extra mile; they must possess excellent communication (written, spokenand presentation) and interpersonal skills. Computer knowledge is a MUST.
