Job Title: Medical Doctor

Job Summary

• We are seeking a qualified and experienced Medical Doctor to join our Wellness Healthcare team in Lagos.
• The ideal candidate will provide clinical oversight for medical services, validate claims, and ensure the quality and cost-effectiveness of healthcare delivery for our HMO enrollees.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and validate medical claims from healthcare providers.
• Coordinate pre-employment medical screenings for corporate clients.
• Collaborate with the medical team for tariff negotiation and provider evaluation.
• Liaise with healthcare providers to ensure quality service delivery.
• Support the call center team with medical authorizations.
• Ensure effective case management and appropriate treatment plans.
• Deliver health talks and wellness programs to clients.
• Prepare and present regular performance and trend reports.
• Resolve client medical complaints promptly.
• Contribute to wellness outreach and health check initiatives.
• Participate in internal and external clinical audits.

Requirements & Qualifications

• MBBS from a recognized institution with a valid practicing license.
• Minimum of 1years post-NYSC experience (HMO or hospital experience preferred).
• Sound clinical judgment and decision-making skills.
• Strong understanding of HMO operations and healthcare systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and health-related software tools.
