Job Title: Medical Laboratory Scientist

Locations: Lekki, Lagos and Benin - Edo

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Medical Laboratory Scientist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about laboratory sciences, meticulous in technique, and committed to maintaining high standards

 

Key Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of microbiological tests including culture, sensitivity, and identification of pathogens.
• Analyze specimens such as blood, urine, tissue, and other body fluids.
• Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot laboratory instruments and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with all laboratory policies, quality assurance, and safety standards.
• Record and interpret results accurately; communicate findings to healthcare providers when necessary.
• Participate in continuous education and training programs.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

 

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science (BMLS)
• Valid license from the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (MLSCN)
• Minimum of 3-5 years post-NYSC experience in a medical laboratory, with strong expertise in Microbiology.
• Conversant withgoodlaboratory practice.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

 

Nice To Have:

• Additional certification or specialized training in Microbiology.
• Experience working in an ISO-accredited laboratory setting.

 

Salary

N250,000 per month.
