Job Title: Medical Laboratory Scientist
Location: Anambra
Employment Type: Full-time
Responsibilities
- Devises and adapts technical procedures and modifies equipment, as needed. Keeps informed of new analytical or manufacturing methods.
- Receive urine, collect blood or other samples for experimentation and analysis.
- Maintain equipment and assist in ordering laboratory supplies.
- Ensure that all safety guidelines are followed strictly at all times and maintain a clean and orderly environment.
- Organize and store all chemical substances, fluids and compressed gases according to safety instructions.
- Record all data and results in specified forms, paper and electronic with accuracy and responsibility. Manage and operate laboratory equipment.
- Test and study blood, urine and other body fluids.
- Maintain laboratory quality assurance and safety standards.
Administrative Duties:
- Act as the front-line customer service support for incoming and outgoing calls from customers, clients, potential clients, and doctors/centers for lab results.
- Participate / support all the company's marketing and branding campaigns.
- Coordinate courier services and maintain professional and courteous behavior to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Provide other registration/clerical and billing support as required.
- Ensure proper housekeeping.
- Perform all duties and responsibilities with understanding and respect for the patient’s rights and strict confidentiality.
- Perform other related duties as required.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of relevant work experience
- Required: registered with the Medical Laboratory Scientist Council of Nigeria
- Must reside in Anambra State, Nigeria.
Salary
N100,000 - N150,000 / month.
