Job Title: Medical Laboratory Scientist

Location: Ojo, Lagos

Employment Type: Full-time

 

About the Role

• We are seeking to employ a competent Medical Laboratory Scientist. The ideal candidate will be responsible for carrying out diagnostic tests, ensuring accuracy, and supporting efficient laboratory operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct routine and specialized laboratory investigations in hematology, microbiology, chemistry, serology, parasitology, and related units.
• Analyze and interpret results, ensuring accuracy, quality, and timely reporting.
• Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment and instruments.
• Ensure adherence to internal SOPs, quality standards, and MLSCN regulations.
• Collect and properly document patient samples.
• Participate in internal and external quality control programs.
• Maintain clean, safe, and well-organized work areas in line with biosafety standards.
• Manage reagent/consumable inventory and report shortages promptly.
• Provide professional support to patients and clinical personnel.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess a Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Science (BMLS) Degree in Medical Laboratory Science.
• Valid MLSCN practicing license.
• Minimum of 5 years post-NYSC experience in the healthcare industry(experience in a diagnostic center is an advantage).
• Strong analytical skills and keen attention to detail.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.

Compensation

• N180,000 - N200,000 / Month (Net)
• Additional benefits may be provided by the client
