We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Medical Laboratory Technician

Location: Badagry, Lagos

Employment Type: Full-time

 

Job Summary

A Medical Laboratory Technician performs routine laboratory tests on patient samples to assist physicians in diagnosing, monitoring, and treating diseases.

They work under the supervision of a Medical Laboratory Scientist or Pathologist and ensure accurate, timely, and reliable test results.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect and receive patient specimens (blood, urine, stool, sputum, etc.)
• Perform laboratory tests in areas such as:
• Hematology
• Microbiology
• Clinical chemistry
• Immunology
• Blood banking
• Prepare samples for analysis
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment
• Record and interpret test results accurately
• Ensure quality control procedures are followed
• Maintain laboratory safety and infection control standards
• Report critical results to supervisors or physicians
• Maintain proper documentation and laboratory records.

Requirements

• Interested candidates should possess an OND qualification with at least 2 years experience.
