In pursuance of its Constitutional Mandate, and in compliance with the directive of the President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, the Police Service Commission (PSC), in conjunction with the Nigeria Police Force (NPF), invite applications from suitably qualified Nigerians for enlistment into the Nigeria Police Force as Police Constables.

Eligibility
- Must be a Nigerian Citizen by birth;
- Must be physically and mentally fit;
- Must be free from financial embarrassment;
- Must be of good character;
- Must not have been convicted of any criminal offence (s);
- Must present two (2) character referees;
- General Duty Applicants must be aged between 18 to 25 years while Specialists Applicants should not be more than 28 years;
- Female applicants must not be pregnant at the time of entry and throughout the duration of training (if successful);
- Applicants should be free from conditions such as: Defective eyesight, Knock Knees, bowed legs, bent arms, deformed arms/legs, flat foot, amputation of any part of the body;
- General Duty Applicants must not be less than 1.67m in height for males and 1.64m in height for females. In addition, Expanded Chest measurement for General Duty males must not be less than 86cm (34inches).
Qualifications
General Duty:
- Applicants must be holders of GCE Ordinary Level, SSCE/NECO or their equivalents with a minimum of five (5) credits (including English Language and Mathematics) in not more than two sittings.
Specialist:
- Applicants must be holders of GCE Ordinary Level SSCE/NECO or their equivalents with a minimum of four (4) credits (including English Language and Mathematics) in not more than two sittings. A minimum of three (3) year's experience and Trade Tests in relevant fields/areas is required.
