Job Title: Microbiologist

Location: Ikeja, Lagos

Job Summary

Erisco foods limited isseeking a proactive and detail oriented Microbiologist to join our team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible be for ensuring product safety, quality and compliance with regulatory standard.

Key Responsibilities

• To conduct routine microbiological and chemical testing of products and ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.
• Monitor quality across raw materials, in-process and finished goods.
• Maintain accurate and complete test records and documentation.
• Perform regular equipment calibration and maintenance checks.
• Assist in internal audits and regulatory inspections.
• Support corrective and preventive action (CAPA) processes.
• Work closely with production for quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) in Microbiology, Food microbiology, Food Science and Technology.
• Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in a relevant QC role.
• Good knowledge of Food Safety Standards.
