The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control on Monday reported 32 new COVID-19 cases from four states and the Federal Capital Territory. The agency did not report any additional COVID-19 related death.
The NCDC disclosed this on its official website. According to data from the agency, Kwara recorded 17 cases, followed by Lagos 7, FCT – 5, Rivers – 2, and Kaduna– 1. The 32 new infections reported have brought the total number of confirmed cases to 254,325 while 230,703 people have recovered and have been discharged.
With no COVID-19 related deaths recorded for the day, the death toll from the virus still stands at 3,142. The agency added that a multi-sectoral National Emergency Operations Centre, activated at Level 2, had continued to coordinate the national response activities.
