Re: Information about Sub-Saharan Africa Women Researchers Programme of the University of Alicante Scholarships – Second Call 

I write to bring to the attention of Vice-Chancellors of Nigerian Universities, the attached letter from the Embassy of Spain dated, 27th July, 2023, on the above subject. 

The programme which is promoted by the office of the Vice President for International Relations and Development Cooperation, is aimed at giving grants to Women Researches in their pre-doctoral or post-doctoral stage of research to complete their training through short-term research at the University of Alicante for the development of their doctoral thesis or research. 

Therefore, application should be submitted on or before 8th September, 2023. Interested institutions or persons should get detailed information from the website: https://sre.au.es/en/cooperation/convocatorias/m-africa/women-researchers-sub-saharan.html. Or contact: [email protected]. 

Consequently, Vice-Chancellors are enjoined to give this information the widest dissemination in their respective Universities.
