We cover various aspects of healthcare with pharmaceutical products which includes: Cardiovascular Drugs, Antibiotics / Anti-infective, Hormonal Drugs, Anxiolytics, Pains and Analgesia, and many more.

The company sources its products globally from very reputable pharmaceutical manufacturing organizations with traits of ethics and outstanding records characterized by regular updating and internationally competent in research and development, certified WHO-GMP, USFDA and UK standard facilities.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: National Sales Manager (Pharmaceuticals)

Location: Onitsha, Anambra

Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

  • Primary responsibility of planning, directing, coordinating, and evaluating the organization's marketing strategies
  • Oversee the internal marketing staff to ensure they are meeting targeted goals
  • Collaborate with department heads to establish aggressive marketing plans that develop more loyal relationships.
  • Analyze market trends to estimate demands and target the right consumer audience
  • Implementing marketing strategies that meet overall organizational goals
  • Assessing strategic partnership opportunities for marketing initiatives
  • Overseeing the marketing department’s individual projects
  • Foster relationships with physicians to improve the organization's referrals and contracts.
  • Liaising between the marketing department and upper leadership
  • Managing relationships with the media and the wider community
  • Develop pricing tactics that maximize profitably
  • Creating a communication plan to be used across all marketing and PR
  • Evaluating the effectiveness of old marketing programs and the viability of new ones
  • Conducts brainstorming sessions with internal and external groups within areas of Dony Triumph’s strategic focus to identify new concepts or enhancements to our products.

Others:

  • Manages resources and people processes (e.g., Performance Management, Career Development, Training, Staffing, etc.) to ensure the day to day administration of processes and formal procedures.
  • Identifies individual and team skill gaps and developmental opportunities (e.g., training, special assignments, conferences, projects, etc.) to facilitate individual and team development
  • Conducts frequent performance evaluations in a consistent, fair, and objective manner to facilitate open communication and encourage continuous performance improvement.
  • Holds others accountable to established performance levels to achieve individual and group goals.
  • Resolves individual and group performance issues in accordance with Dony Triumph’s policies and procedures in a timely manner to motivate and foster teamwork.
  • Coaches others and provides on-going feedback and support to improve performance.
  • Identifies opportunities to involve others in new and challenging work assignments and/or rotations that advance the skills and capabilities of individuals and the organization.
  • Job Requirements
  •  
  • Pharmacy or Allied Medical Sciences Graduates.
  • Certificate in Marketing, MBA holder may be an advantage
  • From 6 - 8 years of experience and not less than 1 years in the same position.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication (both written and verbal) skills.
  • Proactive in creating and executing plans.
  • Has a strong drive to succeed.
  • Well versed in the production of documents and other promotional materials
  • A keen eye to detail.
  • Skilled for developing teams for high performance.
  • Strong relationship building and the ability to maintain such relationships.
  • Is flexible and capable to work on own initiative with minimal direct supervision.
  • Has a powerful sales instinct and strong marketing flare.
  • Should possess high business sense.
