Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the institute of Health Sciences and Technology, of the University of Benin Teaching Hospital, Benin City for the 2025/2026 Academic Session in the following programmes.

3. Mortuary Science Management and Funeral Services

4. Community Health Officers

Course Duration - Special: B.Sc (1year) - Regular (2 years)

 

Entry Qualification

1. Applicants should possess a minimum of five credit passes in not more than two (2) sittings in WASSCE, NECO or GCE O/L, which should include English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics and Biology.

2. Health sciences in lieu of Biology is acceptable for Paramedics Technology and Environmental Health Technology.

3. National Diploma (ND) Candidates must have written the 2025 UTME (JAMB) Exams with expected minimum score of 150.

4. For Candidates seeking admission into Biomedical Engineering Technology course, a pass in any of the following subjects will be a added advantage wood works, auto-mechanics, basic electricity, technical drawing and fine arts.

5. For Higher National Diploma (HND) candidates are to meet the following requirements,

• A minimum of five credit passes in not more than two (2) sittings in WASSCE, NECO or GCE O/L which should include English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, and Biology
• National Diploma with a minimum of lower credit pass in the discipline obtained from an NBTE-accredited programme plus a minimum of one-year post ND cognate work experience in the field of specialization  
• Must have obtained a current Professional License.

 

Method of Application

i. Admission forms are obtainable online at a fee of N12000 for the Diploma Certificate Programme and Direct Entry (HND) Programmes

ii. N2000 to obtain the Post UTME Screening form for JAMB Candidates.

iii. It also includes service charges during the payment process.

iv. All payments above should be made through the remitta platform at the school https://ihstubth.edu.ng

All exams are strictly computer-based (CBT)

Submit your print-out slip to the Registrar Officer for documentation on or before the date of the Post UTME

The examination date will be communicated on the due date.
