… as school gets accreditation after nine years
The Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria has approved the accreditation of the Edo State College of Nursing Sciences, following massive investment by the Governor Godwin Obaseki-led administration in revamping the state-run institution.
In a letter conveying the approval, Secretary General/Registrar of the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria, Faruk Umar Abubakar, said the College has provisional accreditation for the General Nursing and Basic Midwifery programmes with effect from October 2021.
The school, under its former status, lost its accreditation in 2012.
