Job Title: Optometrist

Location: Adeniyi Jones Avenue, Ikeja, Lagos

Employment Type: Full-time (Monday – Friday) Two Saturdays in a month

 

Overview

• A reputable eye hospital is seeking a qualified and experienced Optometrist with at least three years post-NYSC experience.
• The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive eye care services, perform clinical examinations, and support the hospital’s vision care objectives.

Responsibilities

• Conduct eye examinations and vision tests for patients.
• Diagnose and manage visual disorders and ocular diseases.
• Prescribe corrective lenses and medications where appropriate.
• Provide patient education on eye care and preventive practices.
• Collaborate with ophthalmologists and other healthcare professionals.
• Maintain accurate patient records and reports.

Requirements & Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree in Optometry from a recognized institution.
• Minimum of 3 years post-NYSC experience in a clinical or hospital setting.
• Current practicing license with relevant professional body.
• Excellent diagnostic and patient management skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.

Salary

N300,000 - N320,000 / month.
