FIP and pharmacists from around the world made a new global commitment to action on accelerating vaccination equity, access and sustainability through pharmacy today. The commitment is based on the outcomes of FIP’s 2021 Transforming Vaccination programme, which culminated today in a leadership summit on pharmacy-based vaccination policy and advocacy.
Building on the outcomes of FIP’s 2020 Transforming Vaccination programme, the 2021 programme, “Accelerating equity, access and sustainability through policy development and implementation”, has explored equity in vaccinations across different angles of age, gender, literacy and education, and interprofessional unity and collaboration in addition to identifying regional priorities across the globe.
