Job Title: Production Pharmacist

Job Role
- Responsible for production activities, starting from incoming materials to outgoing Finished goods
Job Description
- Involvement with pilot scale trials of products under development.
- Ensure proper operation, cleaning and maintenance of production equipment and report any malfunctioning to the appropriate department.
- Ensure strict compliance with production plans and generate daily production reports including variances.
- To monitor production operations and records by Master formula from the start of production till completion
- Ensure all processes are done in strict compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practices.
- Validation of production processes, preparation and preparation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- To ensure manufacturing and packaging operations are carried out as per SOPs.
- To ensure that the appropriate Qualifications and calibrations of Production equipment are performed as per SOP and the reports are generated.
- Ensure appropriate inventory in conjunction with the store officer to ensure a timely supply of materials needed for production.
- Share responsibility with the maintenance team in ensuring that all production equipment is standardized and certified.
- Liaising with all maintenance/engineering and quality departments to ensure smooth production.
- In conjunction with QC/QA, Engineering and other applicable departments, carry out deviation investigation of processes and procedures related to manufacturing and packaging operations.
- Oversee production operations in conjunction with other Sectional heads and Supervisors to ensure compliance with cGMP.
- Participate in New Projects in terms of product development and re-formulation being carried out to suit the local market environment in line with cGMP guidelines.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a pharmacist
- Thorough understanding of dosage administration and measurement, chemical compounds, medical brands etc
- Outstanding knowledge of MS Office and pharmacy information system
- Good organizing skills
- Excellent communication skills with a customer-oriented approach
