Job Title: Production Pharmacist

Location: Agbara, Lagos

Employment Type: Full-time

Description  

• Our client is currently recruiting for the post of a Production Pharmacist who has an understanding and experience in coordinating and supervising the production process in compliance with Goods Manufacturing practices and other relevant regulations.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule and monitor production activities to meet production targets and deadlines.
• Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure the products meet established quality, standards and specifications.
• Conduct regular inspections, testing and validation of equipment, processes and products.
• Maintain accurate and complete production records, batch documentation and reports in accordance with regulatory requirements.
• Ensure all necessary documentation such as batch records and standard operating procedures are up to date and accessible.
• Ensure compliance with all local and international pharmaceutical regulations including NAFDAC.
• Stay updated on regulatory changes and implement necessary adjustments to maintain compliance.
• Promote a safe and environmentally responsible production environment.
• Prepare, compound and formulate pharmaceutical products following standard SOP’S and GMP guidelines.

Requirements

• Bachelors in Pharmacy.
• Minimum 5 years of experience is required in a pharmaceutical production company.
• High level of mathematical proficiency.
• High level of proficiency with Excel is essential to organize, and maintain data.
• Good IT skills especially with MS Office applications.
• Leadership skills to bring together employees and team members.
• Strong language and numerical skills
• Well organized

• Ability to work under pressure with both internal team members and externally
