We are recruiting to fill the position below:

 

Job Title: Registered Pharmacist

 

Location: Abule Egba, Lagos

Employment Type: Full-time

 

Core Responsibilities

Dispensing Medications:

• Accurately filling and dispensing prescriptions.
• Ensuring medications are stored and handled properly.

 

Patient Counseling and Education:

• Providing information about medications, including dosage, administration, potential side effects, and interactions.
• Answering patient questions and addressing concerns.
• Educating patients on proper medication use and storage.

 

Collaboration with Healthcare Providers:

• Communicating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure appropriate medication use.
• Reviewing prescriptions for accuracy and appropriateness.

 

Quality Control and Safety:

• Ensuring the quality and safety of medications.
• Monitoring for medication errors and adverse events.
• Participating in medication safety initiatives.

 

Record Keeping and Documentation:

• Maintaining accurate patient records, including medication profiles and dispensing records.
• Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines.

 

Other Responsibilities:

• Managing inventory of medications and supplies.
• Assisting with administrative tasks, such as answering phones and processing insurance claims.
• Overseeing and training pharmacy technicians and interns.
• Administering vaccinations (depending on the scope of practice).

 

Requirements

• The candidates should possess a B.Pharm Degree with 7 years work experience.

 

Salary

N200,000 - N300,000 monthly.
