Wellpath Physiotherapy and Wellness is a rehabilitation company in the business of providing physiotherapy, occupational therapy and speech and language therapy. Wellpath provides outpatient services as well as home service and hospital service to its clients.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

 

Job Title: Senior Physiotherapist & Team Lead (Hydrotherapy)

Location: Victoria Island, Ikoyi & Lekki - Lagos

Employment Type: Full-time

Work Hours - 8am to 6pm

 

About the Role

• We are looking for an experienced Senior Physiotherapist with a strong interest in hydrotherapy to lead our team while providing high-quality physiotherapy care.
• This position requires clinical expertise, leadership skills, and hands-on experience in hydrotherapy to support patient rehabilitation effectively.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of physiotherapists, ensuring best practices in patient care.
• Develop and oversee rehabilitation programs, with a focus on hydrotherapy-based treatments.
• Assess patients for water-based therapy and implement tailored hydrotherapy programs to improve mobility and recovery.
• Provide hands-on physiotherapy treatment, including musculoskeletal and neurological rehabilitation.
• Conduct training sessions for junior physiotherapists and healthcare staff on hydrotherapy techniques.
• Collaborate with doctors, orthopedic specialists, and rehabilitation teams to ensure integrated patient care.
• Assist with policy development and quality assurance initiatives within the physiotherapy department.

 

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Physiotherapy.
• 3 - 5+ years of experience in clinical physiotherapy, with a specialization or keen interest in hydrotherapy.
• Strong knowledge of aquatic therapy principles, water-based rehabilitation, and musculoskeletal treatment.
• Proven experience in leadership, mentorship, or team coordination.
• Excellent communication and patient education skills.
• Compassionate, patient-focused approach with a commitment to innovation in rehabilitation.
