We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Sonographer

Location: Victoria Island, Lagos

Employment Type: Full-time

 

Job Summary

• Perform ultrasound examinations to create images of internal body structures for diagnostic purposes.
• Work with healthcare teams to provide quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

Patient Care:

• Prepare patients for exams, explain procedures, and ensure comfort
• Position patients correctly for optimal image quality
• Monitor patients during exams and respond to emergencies

Ultrasound Procedures:

• Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment
• Conduct various ultrasound exams (e.g., abdominal, obstetric, vascular)
• Capture and analyze images for diagnostic purposes

Image Management:

• Store, manage, and retrieve patient images and reports
• Ensure image quality and accuracy

Collaboration:

• Work with radiologists and healthcare teams for patient care
• Communicate findings and recommendations

Quality Control:

• Follow protocols and guidelines for exams
• Participate in quality assurance activities.
