Job Title: Sonologist

Location: Redeemer’s Health Village, Mowe - Ogun

 

About the Role

• Redeemer’s Health Village is seeking a qualified and dedicated Sonologist to join our Radiology Department.
• The ideal candidate will have a solid background in diagnostic imaging and strong interpretive skills, ensuring accuracy, compassion, and professionalism in every patient interaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform and interpret a wide range of ultrasound scans, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts studies.
• Prepare accurate and timely reports to support clinical diagnosis and treatment.
• Collaborate closely with physicians and other medical professionals to ensure quality patient outcomes.
• Maintain and calibrate ultrasound equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Uphold patient safety, comfort, and confidentiality throughout all procedures.
• Provide technical guidance or training to junior radiographers or interns where required.

Requirements

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Medicine (MBBS) or Radiography / Medical Imaging Science.
• Postgraduate Diploma or Certification in Diagnostic Ultrasound or Sonology from a recognized institution.
• Valid professional license with either the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN) or the Radiographers Registration Board of Nigeria (RRBN).
• 2–3 years’ hands-on experience performing diagnostic ultrasound procedures.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• A compassionate, patient-centered approach with strong attention to detail.
