Professor, Reader, Senior Lecturer, Lecturer 1, Lecturer 11, Assitant Lecturer in all the Programmes.

Qualifications

Professor: The candidate must be a Professor with a minimum of twenty (20) publications; five (5) of which must be offshore while (15) should be journal articles) OR a Reader with a Ph.D. degree or its equivalent in a relevant field and evidence of outstanding and continuing achievement/ teaching experience in a University. Ability to supervise a minimum of one Ph.D. student or three Masters students. Registration with the relevant professional body is a mandatory requirement.

The candidate applying for the position of Professor in the medical-related field must possess MBBS plus the final of the fellowship of the National Postgraduate Medical College Nigeria and its equivalent. Associate Professor/ Reader:

The candidate must be a Reader or Senior Lecturer with a Ph.D. degree or its equivalence in a relevant field and evidence of outstanding and continuing achievement/teaching experience in a University. Fifteen (15) publications in reputable international and national journals. Ability to supervise a minimum of one master's or Ph.D. student. Registration with the relevant professional body is a mandatory requirement.

The candidate applying for the position of Associate Professor /Reader in the medical-related field must possess MBBS plus the final of the fellowship of the National postgraduate Medical College Nigeria and its equivalent.

Senior Lecturer:

The candidate must possess a Ph.D. degree or its equivalent in the relevant field from a recognized institution plus nine (9) years post post-qualification teaching and research experience. The candidate must also have a minimum of eight (8) publications in reputable journals with evidence of continuous research and the ability to supervise graduate students. Registration with the relevant professional body is a mandatory requirement.

The candidate applying for the position of Senior Lecturer in the medical-related field must possess MBBS plus the final of the fellowship of the National Postgraduate Medical College Nigeria and its equivalent.

Lecturer I

The candidate must possess a Ph.D. degree or its equivalent in the relevant field from a recognized institution plus six (6) years post qualification teaching and research experience. The candidate must also have a minimum of Four (4) publications in reputable journals with evidence of continuous research and the ability to supervise graduate students. Registration with the relevant professional body is a mandatory requirement.

The candidate applying for the position of Lecturer | in the medical-related field must possess MBBS plus the final of the fellowship of the National Postgraduate Medical College Nigeria or its equivalent. Lecturer II

A fresh Ph.D. holder from a recognized University or Master's degree plus three (3) years post-qualification teaching and research experience and, at least, two (2) Journal publications with evidence of Ph.D. registration. Registration with the relevant professional body is\ a mandatory requirement.

The candidate applying for the position of Lecturer II in the medical-related field must possess an MBBS. The part II of the fellowship of the National Postgraduate Medical College Nigeria and its equivalent is an added advantage.

Assistant Lecturer:

A good second class honours degree (not less than 2™ Class Upper) and/or a Master's Degree including NYSC discharge or exemption certificate plus professional registration.
