POSITION: Dermatologist

LOCATION: Abuja, Nigeria

Job summary

A skilled Dermatologist with significant knowledge in dermatology and related fields of internal medicine.

A medical doctor with some undertanding of hospital administrative processes.

Ability to carry out minimally invasive dermatologic procedures e.g. cryotherapy, carboxytherapy, skin biopsies, skin electrcautery 

Qualification and skill requirement:

·         A medical degree ( MBBS, MD or equivalent)

-         A postgraduate degree in Dermatology (Masters Equivalent)- Clinical or Aesthetic Dermatology

·         Qualification as a Dermatologist (FWACP, FMCP, or equivalent) would be a significant added advantage

Experience

A minimum of 5 years clincal experience

Key competencies and attributes:

·         Excellent dermatology and clinical skills and ability to show empathy

·         Strong team player with proven organizational and administrative skills

·         Strong Leadership skills to ensure development of world class Dermatology Unit and motivate staff towards goal

·         Ability to adjust to practice in a dynamic environment and practice in a computerized environment

-         Ability to participate and engage in clinical audit

-         Ability to carry out clinical research and publish accordingly
