If your guy is somewhat of a Coca Cola chugger, you might want to get him to cut back. And not for the sake of his teeth, or his waistline.
Scientists at Copenhagen University Hospital have found that downing cans of cola can have a detrimental effect on men’s reproductive health.

The research looked at 2,554 young guys who drank a lot of cola, and found that they had a sperm count of 35 million per millilitre, compared to 56 million per millilitre in moderate coke drinkers.
And while that’s still within the range considered normal, reducing your sperm count by such a big percentage could have an affect on future baby-making plans.
The study also found there was no link between caffeine levels in cola and other drinks, therefore indicating the lower sperm count in men was likely due to another ingredient.
And sadly there’s more. A separate study found that drinking too much cola and certain other fizzy drinks was also found to have links to men suffering from erectile dysfunction. Yikes!
Doctors Jan Adamowicz and Tomasz Drewa at Nicolaus Copernicus Hospital, Poland, found that drinking fizzy drinks to excess disturbs “all the physiological foundations of a proper erection.”
They claimed a sweetener in the drinks could damage arteries in the penis - possibly preventing blood flowing freely through the muscle.
Moral of the story? The odd can of coke or fizzy drink is probably ok, but if your man is downing it like its going out of fashion and you hope he’ll one day be your baby daddy, you might want to get him to cut down.
It’ll be better for his teeth, and his organ.
