Location: Abuja
will work under the supervision of the Associate Director, HSS to provide technical leadership in the planning, implementing and monitoring of health systems strengthening and laboratory activities in the SIDHAS project Sfhe will contribute to FHI 360's provision of technical assistance to FHI 360 Nigeria partners and implementing agencies at all levels to developfreview, implement and monitor health systems and laboratory strategies and activities.
Minimum Recruitment Standards:
- MB.BS/MD/PHD or similar degree with 3 to 5 years post national youth service experience with at least 3 years progressive experience in health systems strengthening, health financing, human resource for health management or other related areas.
- MPH or related degree with at least 5 to 7 years post national youth service experience with at least 3 years progressive experience in health systems strengthening. health financing, human resource for health management or other related areas.
- Experience in health systems analysis, health financing (including budgeting and health accounts), human resource for health (including workload analysis), and service delivery required.
- Familiarity with Nigerian public sector health system and NGOs and CBOs is highly desirable.
Position: The Assistant TB/HIV Referral Coordinator:
Location: Akwa Ibom, Rivers, Cross RIvers, Lagos
With the support of the Senior Technical Officer PCT (State office), Senior Technical Officer TBHIV (CO) and the LGA TBL supervisor, the Assistant TBHIV referral coordinator will provide technical, programmatic and laboratory support to implement high quality LGA level, TB, TBHIV and HeT services at the local government level.
In addition slhe, will work with others in the state office and local implementing partners to ensure that LGA level TBfTBHIV monitoring and evaluation activities are appropriate and meet the donor and project's' M&E needs. S/He will regularly collect, collate and submit program data to the STO PCT (state office) for subsequent analysis and further actions. Their primary location will be at the highest HIV burden site in a given LGA from where support will also be provided to other sites within the LGA
Minimum Recruitment Standards:
- He or she should have a minimum of Community Health Officer (CHO) or its equivalent in any public health related field;
- He or she should have a minimum of 2 years working experience in the public health field related to TB and TBHIV:
- He or she should be fluent in oral and written English;
- He or she should be computer literate with an ability to analyze data; and Resident in the relevant LGA.
Position: The Assistant Technical Officer-Monitoring & Evaluation:
Location: Bauchi & Kano
will work with others in the state office and local implementing partners to ensure that state monitoring and evaluation activities are appropriate and meet the donor and project's M&E needs. Sf He will enter program data into the FHI360 data management software for subsequent analysis; identifies and follows up missing data; undertakes basic validation checks, and stores and disseminates data and hard copy files as appropriate.
Minimum Recruitment Standards:
- BS/BA in Statistics, Pharmacy, Microbiology, Monitoring and evaluation or in relevent degree with 1 year relevant experience in Monitoring and Evaluation or data Management; and
- Familiarity with Nigerian public sector health systems and NGO's and CBOs is highly desirable.
Position: The Senior Technical Officer-Mitigation:
Location: Abuja
will provide technical assistance and support in the implementation of testing and counseling, home based care, ophans and vulnerable children and other community mobilization activities within the HIV/AIDS Prevention, Care & Treatment Department, Ensuring the appropriate application of sound technical strategies. She/he will also support the management, of FANTA's Technical assitance to USAID/Nigeria and its partners to integrate nutirtion assessment counseling and support (NACS) into care and treatment of people living with HIV(PLHIV) and Ophans and vulnerable children(OVC). Field work will be mainly based in Rivers State and will require extensive domestice travel.
Minimum Requirement Standards:
- At least 5years of project management experience in nutrition and health, SBCC, or HIV or TB programs, including technical assistance, Program design and Management, research or policy development, and anayalsis or MB.BS/MD?PHD or similar degree with 3 to 5 years public health experience at the state or community level or in the private health sector.
- Experience with health and nutrition in Nigeria.
- Experience with USAID-funded projects and PEPFAR supported Programs;
- Experience planning, coordinating, and/or facilitating training and meeting;
- Experience working closely with the ministry of Health and government health system and
- Experience with technical, financial and adminstrative management of national technical activities such as training and programming.
