Health Information Managers Association of Nigeria Press Release

Posted on: Sat 05-11-2016

The attention of Council of Health Information Managers Association of Nigeria HIMAN under the leadership of the Ag. President Alh Babale has been drawn to the purported letters of threats written by Wole Ajayi and his lawyer being circulated in the social media.

Ordinarily, the Council would have ignored the letters but for the benefit of our distinguished professionals who may be be diverted by the contents of the letters, there is need to clear the cloud.

In view of the fore going therefore, Council wishes to state that HIMAN as a body has not taken anybody to court and nobody has taken it to court either.

Therefore the issue of a case pending against HIMAN did not arise. In view of this, we wish to inform our amiable and teeming professionals colleagues all over the country that the conference slated for Ibadan will hold as scheduled.

We are more determined than before and our respected members are hereby urged to join hands with the council to fight this common enemy of progress who had resolved to collapse the great professional institution built by our hard working founding fathers.

We should all say no to this impunity, unruly behaviour and excessive recklessness being displayed by minority among us.

We should all prepare and feel free to go to Ibadan as scheduled without fear of molestation.

Thank you.
Adio Rasaq,
National PRO, HIMAN
