Management Sciences for Health (MSH) saves lives and improves health, especially among the world's poorest and most vulnerable people, by closing the gap between knowledge and action in public health. 1. To develop the skills of select MSH ProACT supported health facility staff, Kwara and Kebbi state NEPWAN and support group coordinators to implement quality PHDP intervention in a manner that will improve PLHIV clients’ retention in ART and care
2. To strengthen service providers capability to support facility-community linkages and referrals
3. To build the skills of select service providers in documenting PHDP services to PLHIV
4. To build the capacity of select service providers to identify and address structural, socio-economic and other factors which hinder PLHIV from accessing ART and care services
5. To build the capacity of select service providers in mainstreaming gender into HIV/AIDS response - identify and address harmful gender norms and gender based violence

1. Training report containing recommendations and approaches to improve PLHIV retention in treatment and care
2. Training curriculum (power point slides)
3. Simple indicators/ tools to track facility/ community PHDP interventions
4. Recommendations for mainstreaming gender into comprehensive PHDP services

1. Minimum of first degree or its’ equivalent in health related or social sciences disciplines
2. Knowledgeable in USAID funded programming
3. Prior experience working with PLWHIVA
4. Excellent English language competency – oral and written
5. Computer literate
6. Prior experience in USAID requirements for mainstreaming gender into comprehensive HIV and AIDS response
