Background Information on the Polytechnic
The Polytechnic operates a multi campus system thus:
a. Main Campus located at the former UPE Teachers College along Zaria — Kaduna express road.
b. Annex Campus located at the former College of Advanced Studies, Gaskiya, Zaria.
c. Samaru Kataf Campus located at the former Kaduna State College of Agriculture, Samaru Kataf.
There are presently seven (7) schools and each school is headed by a Director.
Position: Office of the Medical Director Services
Location: Zaria
Responsibilities for the Office of Director, Medical Services
i. Taking over all charge of medical centre.
ii. Co-ordinating the work and activities of subordinates staff of the centre.
iii. Responsible to the Rector for the smooth running of the medical centre.
iv. Any other duties as may be assigned by the Rector.
Qualities and Qualifications:

i. The applicant should be a holder of MBBS or equivalent qualification with eighteen (18) years cognate experience or holder of post graduate qualification in medicine with at least fifteen (15) years cognate experience. ii. Must provide evidence of membership with the Nigeria Medical and Dental Council.
Terms of Appointment:
i. The salary of the Director of Medical services is CONMESS 15.
ii. He/She shall be entitled to an official car.
iii. He shall be entitled to accommodation, if he/she desires and where a vacant house exists.
