We are a key player in Vaccine and Medical Consumables market and have Distribution partnerships with key Medical Consumables Companies in the world in furtherance of /to our growth strategy, we are seeking to hire a well-qualified and tested sales professional.
Position: Medical Sales Representative
The role
• Develop and grow the company’s market share.
• Deliver on key sales targets;
• Arranging appointments with all tiers of healthcare Professionals (doctors, pharmacists and hospital medical teams) which may include pre-arranged appointments or regular ‘cold’ calling.
• Making presentations to doctors practice staff and nurses in hospitals and medical establishments.
• Organizing conferences for doctors and other medical
• Keeping detailed records of all contacts.
• Planning work schedules and weekly and monthly timetables
• Keeping up-to-date with the latest clinical data supplied by the company, and interpreting, presenting and discussing this data with health professionals during presentations;
• Monitoring competitor activity and competitors’ products;
• Maintaining knowledge of new developments in the health sector, anticipating potential negative and positive impacts on the business and adapting strategy accordingly;
• Developing strategies for increasing opportunities to meet and talk to contacts in the medical and healthcare sector; staying informed about the activities of health services
• Targeting, building and sustaining relationships with key decision makers within the healthcare sector and beyond.
Minimum Qualification and Competencies
• Minimum of first degree in any of the Biological Sciences from a reputable University.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role.
• Excellent computer skills i.e. Microsoft excel, power point and Microsoft word.
• Excellent written and oral skills.
• Self-starter, with strong initiative and ability to work under pressure with minimal or no supervision.
• Strong interpersonal skills and must be able to build new relationships as well as service existing relationships.
