Interviewer (Surveyor) 10 positions – Advancing Child Health via Essential Medicine Vendors (ACHIEVE)
Job Profile
The successful candidate will conduct data collection using structured questionnaires for patent and proprietary medicine vendors providers and Clients exiting the PPMVs shop in Kogi and Kwara State with the following objectives:
. Accurately complete and submit all associated study and administrative materials, such as questionnaires, consent form, timesheets and expense reports, in a timely fashion
. Legibly complete survey questionnaires, where responses to questions are recorded verbatim by hand
. Ability to present research study goals and objectives in a professional and ethical manner
. Ability to maintain the security and confidentiality of all data
. Display good teamwork skills and a willingness to continually improve performance
. Ability to read and interpret documents such as procedures manuals and work instructions
. Ability to speak and communicate well with the public
. Other related duties as assigned
Qualifications/Experience: The desired candidate must have:
. Minimum of first degree or HND.
. Experience in field data collection.
. Ability to speak Yoruba and/or Igala
. Ability to work out of station, during the evening and on weekends
. Ability to work independently without close supervision to meet deadlines
. Must be resident in Kogi state (Lokoja) or Kwara state (Ilorin)
. Must have high integrity and comfortable working with rural populations
. Experience in conducting retail audits, surveys among store/shop keepers and PPMVs will be of added advantage

S/He will carry out data collection using structured questionnaires for PPMVs and Pharmacy providers and Clients seeking anti-malaria drugs at patent and proprietary medicine vendors or Pharmacy Shops in Nasarawa State with the following objectives:
. Accurately complete and submit all associated study and administrative materials, such as questionnaires, consent forms, timesheets and expense reports, in a timely fashion
. Legibly complete survey questionnaires, where responses to questions are recorded verbatim by hand
. Ability to present research study goals and objectives in a professional and ethical manner
. Ability to maintain the security and confidentiality of all data
. Display good teamwork skills and a willingness to continually improve performance
. Ability to read and interpret documents such as procedures manuals and work instructions
. Ability to speak and communicate well with the public
. Other related duties as assigned
