"My Nigeria; what it means ta me"
2. Aim:
The aim of this competition is to promote in Nigerian youths the spirit of patriotism, healthy competition, intellectualism and creativity, while reassuring them that their input and cpntributionin nation building is appreciated
3. Eligibility
This contest is open to all Nigerian youths not above 30 years. However, it is not open to employed young people, even ifthey are within the age bracket .
4. Instructions
All entries must conform to the rules outl inebelow:
i. The entry must be an original perception on the above topic," ' showing clarity of thought and innovation, while providing practical suggestions, where necessary.
ii. The essay must have four parts:
a. Title page
b. Body of work (introduction, body and conclusion)
c. Bibliography (where necessary)
d. Constant's Bio-data
iii The contestant's bio-data must include the contestant's name, date of birth, evidence of age, full mailing address, occupation, educational qualification, telephone number and e-mail address {where available}.
iv. The title page, bibliography (where necessary) and constant's bio-data must each be listed on a separate page and no reference to the contestant's name or information should be part of the body of the work.
v. Using a front size of 14 (times new roman), entries must be double-spaced.
vi The essay which must have a minimum of 800 words, must not exceed 1,000 words (excluding the title page, footnotes and bio-data).
vii Entries will be judge based on the following:
• Accuracy of information
• Clarity ofthought
• Organization
• Grammar and spelling
• Documentations
5. Submission of entries
i. Entry closes at 4:00 pm on Mondays September 23,2013.
ii. All entries must be submitted online to ANY of the Agency's web addresses listed below or by hand to the office of the Director, Planning. Research & Statistics, (PRS) Room 330, National Orientation Agency, Headquarters, Block "B" Federal Secretariat Complex, Area 1, Garki -Abuja;[email protected]
iii. Essays that do not conform to the rules shall be disqualified.
