The attention of thhe management of the National Primary Healthcare Development Agency has been drawn to an employment scam by some unscrupulous individuals in different parts of the country using the name of Midwives Services scheme (MSS) and Sure-P Maternal and Child Health Project.

The Agency hereby dissociates itself from the activities of such persons and categorically states that they are not representing the Agency. NPHCDA hereby cautions the public, particularly youths to be wary of such people.

Approprite steps are being taken to get the law enforcement agencies to track down those engaging in this unfortunate excercise.

We hereby inform all participants in the Midwives Service Scheme (MSS), potential applicants, States Primary Healthcare Boards, State Directors of Primary Health Care, PHC Co-ordinators in all local government areas and all health workers that National Primary Health Care Development Agency has not authorised anybody to collect money on its behalf for his or her enlistment into the Midwives Service Scheme and Sure-P Maternal and Child Health Project.

The Public, participants and those interested in the Midwives Services Scheme and Sure-P Maternal and Child Health Project are adviced to deal directly with the National Primary Healthcare Development Agency, its zonal offices in the six (6) geo political zones or with the MSS focal persons in each state of the federation and the Federal Capital Territory Office, Abuja.
