This is to inform the General Public and in particular, all health professionals and health workers in the health sector, that, His Excellency, President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, GCFR, inaugurated a Presidential Committee of Experts on Inter-Professional Relationships in the Public Health Sector on Wednesday, 18th September, 2013 with the following Terms of Reference (TOR):

(I) Determine the conflict areas amongst public health sector workers;

(ii) Determine international best www .medicalworldnigeria.com'practices in the management of public health workers;

(iii) Review the current roles of various professional cadres in the health sector and recommend measures to remove areas of conflict;

(iv) Review extant lows governing various health professionals and' recommend appropriate amendments where necessary; www.medicalworldnigeria.com

(v) Review Draft Report of the Committee set up by the Honourable Minister of Health on Harmonious Work Relationship among public health workers with a view to adopting suitable recommendations therefrom;

(vi) Advise Government on appropriate measures to promote harmonious relationship among public health workers; and

(vii) Consider and make any other recommendation(s) that may be incidental to the foregoing terms of reference which may Assist Government to promote industrial harmony in the Public Health Sector.

2. The Committee has eight (8) weeks to submit its report and has commenced work in earnest.

3. Accordingly, all recognized Professional Associations, Unions and Stakeholders in the Health sector are invited to submit memoranda on the Terms of Reference to the Committee.  www.medicalworldnigeria

4. All Memoranda with any relevant attachments should be submitted both in pdf format and twenty (20) hard copies to:
